Source Betty Tournier "I believe Herbert Room was in the Coal business. I understand he retired when he married my grandmother& handed over the business to his sons, but unfortuneately left the business in his own name.Presumably by mismanagement they bankrupted the business& ruined Herbert Room & I suppose my grandmother too.He was estranged from all his family & it was my father who looked after them both but I believe the shock killed him quite quickly. I have a presentation watch he left my father. "
