  Notes	'Unc' was born in Finland- had a sister Helena.They were orphaned. Unc. learnt his carpentry skills on sailing ships in his younger days.He mined gold in the Emperor Mines in Fiji and in New Guinea.He cut sugar cane in Queensland and was a member of a team which held cane cutting records for some time. He met my Auntie Winnie when working in the Captain Flat coal mine (nr. Woolongong NSW.)They farmed a well run citrus and passionfruit orchard on Forest Road Kulnura 20 miles NW of Gosford.He built their 1st home.Colin Carswell (brother in law) and Unc teamed up for citrus tree spraying and carting fowl manure from Wyong.Oscar & Winnie retired to Java St.Gosford.NSW.
