Estate Agent for Colonel Bromley Davenport at Capesthorns No children.. Was A good friend of my Grandfather John Carswell. Arthur spent 3 years in Australia with a friend of my fathers at Warnambool building the Nestles factory there. Source .Marjory Carswell letters 1963. Lived at Eaton . Built a house there in 1950's - Source Bernard Watson. In May 2005 Trip:- Met Bill Venables whipper snipping Siddington Churchyard.He is a successful retired farmer ( Mercedes!) He showed us aroud the church & graves & mentioned that William Carswells son Arthur was also Agent for the Davenports at Capesthorne put in a good word for him when he was looking for a farm to rent on the estate many years ago!.
