Marion and John's oldest child was Janet Gemmell b. 1846 She is not withher parents at the time of the 1851 census but instead at age 4 is listed asa visitor at Banklog Farm with William and Janet Craig..Linda Murray.
In 1851 Census, William(age 74) is a farmer of 104 acres living atBanklogue. Also living there is his wife Janet (age 68) and their 2unmarried sons, John (age 34) and Thomas (age 32). Also there is JanetGemmell (age 4) listed as a visitor. She is probably theirGrand-daughter...the oldest child of their daughter Marion Craig and herhusband John Gemmell.
